Saw this beautiful song and Kimmel live performance on YouTube the other day and ended up transcribing the guitar as well! “I Played the Fool” was co-written by Michael Stipe and Andrew Watt, with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and Pearl Jam guitarist Josh Klinghoffer. It’s the main theme from the HBO show Rooster.
