“Moonage Daydream” was written by David Bowie during his time with the Arnold Corns. It was later re-recorded for his epic 1972 album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. His studio band was made up of guitarist Mick Ronson, bassist Trevor Bolder, and drummer Mick Woodmansey. Bolder’s bass playing on “Moonage Daydream” is exceptional and serves as much of the song’s melodic content, such as during the verses and choruses.
